Groton Fall Festival

SATURDAY, OCTOBER 7, 2017 | 11 AM - 5 PM
Vendor Registration Form

The Groton Business Association organized the first Groton Festival in 2006. It was born from an idea to create a community-wide event that would attract artists, crafters and businesses and nonprofit organizations to display their wares and information at Poquonnock Plains Park in Groton. Since its inception, the Fall Festival has grown dramatically. We now have over 110 vendors participating, and thousands of people from the local area and throughout the New England region attending this annual event.

Net proceeds from the festival will be used to support GBA events, including Groton’s Annual Holiday Lights Parade in December and projects throughout the year. For info contact This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. or 860-572-9578

Come join the Greater Groton Community for the Nineteenth Annual Groton Holiday Lights Parade on Saturday, December 3, at 5 p.m. This is a special event, sponsored by the Groton Business Association (GBA) of the Greater Mystic Chamber of Commerce. The line of march is along U. S. Route 1 in downtown Groton from South Road to Drozdyk Drive. Plenty of free parking is available for parade attendees.

Immediately after the parade, Santa Claus will have the honor of lighting the holiday tree on the green at the rear of the Groton Shopping Plaza. Parents, you are invited to take your child’s photograph with Santa Claus. Steve Elci and Friends will provide the post-parade entertainment. The Groton Heights Baptist Church Choir will be present for a holiday singalong. There will be free refreshments and a small gift for kids, donated by Grader Jewelers.

Members of the Old Mystic Fire Department will be walking the parade route and will collect new, unwrapped toys for newborns to age 18. Donated toys will also be collected the post-parade tree lighting at the rear of the Groton Shopping Plaza. The toy drive will benefit the Pawcatuck Neighborhood Center and the Town of Groton Department of Human Services.

Judging will take place as participants pass by Chelsea Groton Bank. For weather cancellation info, please call (860) 441-6791.
