About the Youth Workforce Development Program
The Greater Mystic Chamber of Commerce Youth Workforce Development "Work It!" program endeavors to empower local youth by facilitating the development of the skills necessary to obtain and successfully execute employment opportunities. We focus on transferable skills such as quality customer service, interview techniques and resume development.
We bring in business professionals from the community to speak with the students about the truth and reality of working in the “real world”, and work to create links between those seeking employment and local employers through our Greater Mystic Chamber Customer Service Certification program which matches candidates with relevant employment opportunities throughout the community.
