Christmas Tree Lighting
We found the perfect tree to brighten the 2020 holiday season in Downtown Mystic CT's Mystic River Park! The tree will be raised the morning of November 25, 2020. Thank You to Gene Anderson IV for the donation of the tree, given in loving memory of his father, Gene Anderson III.

Santa reads "Twas the Night Before Christmas"

While the author of the poem "Twas The Night Before Christmas" is disputed, and has been attributed to both Clement Clarke Moore and Henry Livingston Jr., the poem was definitely published for the first time on Dec. 23, 1823 in the Troy Sentinel newspaper in upstate New York.
