Welcome to the Greater Mystic Chamber of Commerce. We are a non-profit, member based organization that fosters and promotes business for its members. Our focus is, and always will be, to better our community through our programs, our events, and our commitment to our members in the services we provide. Our focus is keenly concentrated on how we can help improve the community of the greater Mystic area.
Because there is not a town of Mystic, the Greater Mystic Chamber of Commerce is the unifying voice in a shared community that draws 60 percent of the state's visitors to the area. The chamber participates in several local and state agencies. It initiates and fosters legislation as it pertains to business, and advocates on tourism impact issues as they relate to visitors and residents. It is also active in small business legislation and works with the two local school systems, including them in the business community.

A Letter from the President

The Greater Mystic Chamber of Commerce represents the voice of over 700 business members throughout the region. Our mission is to bring prosperity to our community while carefully balancing the historic nature of our residential neighborhoods. Since 1937, we have bridged the towns of Groton and Stonington in governmental affairs and served as the conduit for communicating with our political representatives to solve small business issues affecting our livelihood. We also address waterfront issues, host annual events, conduct forums for educational outreach and provide many networking opportunities for members.
As a member of the Greater Mystic Chamber of Commerce, you can:
attend legislative forums and breakfasts, receive free listings in our membership directory and on our website‚ promote company events and programs‚ become active on a committee‚ attend workshops and seminars‚ free use of the LCD Projector and sound system and much, much more.
Weekly e-blasts and monthly newsletters can provide a forum for company announcements, and our Chamber health insurance programs offer great rates for small businesses. In addition, new or expanding businesses can benefit from a Chamber-hosted ribbon cutting
The Welcome Center at the Mystic Depot greets visitors to our region and chamber members can display their brochures here year round.
The bottom line is that investment and involvement in the Greater Mystic Chamber ensures success for your business, staff and self.
