

Bruce Flax, President
Bruce Flax has joined the Greater Mystic Chamber of Commerce after working in Entertainment and Marketing at Foxwoods Resort Casino for 26 years.
As a 25 year resident of Groton, who served on the Town Council and as Mayor, Bruce has a wealth of local knowledge. He looks forward to focusing the Chamber on its members and working to successfully open Mystic back up for business as COVID becomes manageable through vaccination and safe behavior.


Megan Yardis, Membership Director
Megan is a seasoned professional with a passion for fostering community and economic growth. With a degree in communications from Christopher Newport University in Virginia, she brings over a decade of experience in both hospitality and marketing to her role as the Membership Manager for the Greater Mystic Chamber of Commerce. Megan is enthusiastic about developing partnerships that enhance connectivity and collaboration within our business community.
When not at work, Megan spends her free time crafting, hanging out with her pup, trying out new restaurants, and enjoying the outdoors.


Keith Padin, Event Director

Keith Padin brings decades of event, hospitality, and business operations experience to the Chamber. Most recently, he served as Director of Auxiliary Business Operations at Mitchell College in New London, Connecticut, where he built the department from the ground up. In that role he developed and managed weddings, facility rentals, and special events, while also overseeing operations for the iconic Michael's Dairy ice cream shop.
Prior to Mitchell College, Keith was Director of Operations for A Thyme to Cook in North Stonington. He has also held marketing and hospitality management roles with two of Connecticut's leading agritourism destinations, Fort Hill Farms in Thompson and Jones Family Farms in Shelton.
Keith lives in Ledyard with his wife and their four children on Full Heart Farm, which his wife owns and operates.
