Meet the Mystic Chamber Staff
Peggy Roberts, President
Peggy Roberts is a University of Connecticut graduate and former senior director of communications and media for the Altria Group. Spending summers with her family on Lords Point, Peggy grew up in Norwich and took her first job as a reporter covering Franklin, Bozrah and Lebanon for The Norwich Bulletin. While working in Alabama for a period of time, Peggy was on a team of reporters that won a Pulitzer Prize in 1988 for a series of stories on infant mortality.
Lauren Giliberto, Events Manager
Lauren Giliberto brings over five years of event planning experience from New York City and Virginia. Lauren is eager to share her professional organization and contagious energy with the Greater Mystic events. She loves the details, bringing all the pieces together to ensure stress-free, successful events. A graduate of Quinnipiac University, Lauren earned a Bachelor of Arts in Public Relations and Informational System Management. Growing up in a small town, she values local businesses and their drive to succeed. Through operational events and community engagements, Lauren works to create an energetic and prosperous environment for the Greater Mystic Chamber of Commerce, and its members.
Stephanie Healy, Marketing Manager
Stephanie Healy brings nearly thirty years of marketing experience to the Greater Mystic Chamber of Commerce. A business owner since 2006, Stephanie’s mission is always directed toward improving the online presence of her clients in a variety of industries through creative, digital design and marketing strategies that express the brand’s message and culture. A graduate of the University of Rhode Island, she holds a B.A. in Anthropology, and a certification in Multimedia Design. Her goals for the Greater Mystic Chamber of Commerce are simple: Deliver the best possible value to Chamber Members through artful and impactful design, clear and consistent brand identity and messaging.
Kristin Hartnett, Membership Manager
Mystic has been in Kristin's heart since her father first moved here in 1996. She has been involved with the GMCC since 2010 - on the membership committee, then a part time sales representative, and then finally full time Membership & Sales Manager since March of 2015. Kristin was elected this year to the Board of Directors for the Downtown Mystic Merchants Association. On the side, she is the facilitator of Laughworks: School of Improv, teaching Improv Classes & Workshops on the art of occupying the present moment. She commutes from East Lyme where she lives with her retired chef husband and beloved black lab, Seamus.
