Meet the Mystic Chamber Staff
Peggy Roberts, President
Peggy Roberts is a University of Connecticut graduate and former senior director of communications and media for the Altria Group. Spending summers with her family on Lords Point, Peggy grew up in Norwich and took her first job as a reporter covering Franklin, Bozrah and Lebanon for The Norwich Bulletin. While working in Alabama for a period of time, Peggy was on a team of reporters that won a Pulitzer Prize in 1988 for a series of stories on infant mortality.
Kristin Hartnett, Director of Member Services
Kristin has been with GMCC since 2010; first on the membership committee, then a part time sales rep, and since 2015, full time, serving as Membership & Sales Manager and now Director of Member Services. Her extensive background in hospitality, communications and theater make this civic sales role a perfect fit.
Kristin is on the Board of Directors for the Downtown Mystic Merchants Association; she has chaired and co-chaired many events including Holiday Stroll, DMMA’s Winter Social, and Groton Holiday Kickoff. She is the current co-host of the SEC-TV cable access show "Mystic Matters," and will organize a ribbon cutting for the opening of an envelope. Kristin commutes from East Lyme where she lives with her retired chef husband and rescue fish, Lazarus.
Stephanie Healy, Marketing Manager
Stephanie Healy has been with the GMCC since 2016 and brings thirty years of marketing experience to the members of the Greater Mystic Chamber of Commerce. A business owner since 2006, Stephanie’s mission is always directed at showcasing the online presence of Mystic Chamber members with creative, digital design and marketing strategies that maintain brand identity and deliver value. A graduate of the University of Rhode Island, Stephanie earned a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology and a certification in Multimedia Design. She lives in Charlestown, Rhode Island with her husband of 23 years and teenage daughter, but has spent much of her professional career working with southeastern Connecticut businesses, large and small.
Kearney Worthington is a 2018 graduate of the College of the Holy Cross. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology with a Studio Art minor. New to the world of event management, her combined studies give her a creative eye while working with both the event itself and the people integral to each event’s success. In her two years with the Chamber, she has worked on multiple events, big and small, and hopes to continue to improve each one as the years pass.
