Comic Art Indigène Preview and Brunch

Please join fellow Museum members and staff for a special preview of Comic Art Indigène, an important exhibit about the influence of comic strips and comic books on today’s Native American art. Through the artistic medium known as sequential art, Native American artists use their talents to express their views on politics, identity and culture. Preview begins at 10 a.m. followed by a brunch of braised beef brisket, huevos rancheros, chili renellos, ranch potatoes, blue corn bread, pastries, bagels and rice pudding at 11 a.m. Meet exhibit curator Tony Chavarria, and stay for his illustrated presentation in the Auditorium at 1 p.m. RSVP by June 16 - Admission is $22 per person.Check out other Family Fun
