A Civil War Love Story By Local Author Lisa Saunders
Travel back to the Civil War to eavesdrop on one couple's devotion to each other and their country in the midst of infidelities, scandals, and ever-present threat of death. Through the actual love letters of Private Charles McDowell and his 17-year-old wife, Nancy.

About the Author:Lisa Saunders lives in Mystic, CT, with her husband, Jim, and beagle/basset hound, Bailey. The author of several books, she is a speaker, blogger, and a consulting writer/publicist.
