Siegel, O’Connor, O’Donnell & Beck, P.C. invites you to attend its seminar: Sexual Harassment Prevention Training for Supervisors.

Connecticut law requires that certain employers provide sexual harassment training to all supervisory level employees within 6 months of hire or promotion. Supervisory employees include anyone “who can assign” work. Further, Connecticut law recommends refresher training at least once every three years for such employees.

Siegel O’Connor recommends that employers provide sexual harassment training to supervisory and management level employees regardless of company size. For employers with 3 or more employees, sexual harassment training provides a defense to charges of sexual harassment before the Connecticut Commission on Human Rights and Opportunities (“CHRO”), the Federal Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (“EEOC”), and state and federal courts.

This seminar is appropriate for supervisors, managers, human resource professionals, executive officers, and in-house counsel. All attendees will receive a certification of completion and compliance.

Where: Hartford Marriott Downtown, 200 Columbus Boulevard, Hartford.

A continental breakfast will be provided.
